We are sad to announce that on July 14, 2021, at the age of 78, Alan Eugene Ford of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle J. Ford and Ruth Elaine Ford (Garrett); his son Floyd Ford; his brother Garry Ford; and his grandchildren, Lance Ford and Michele Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ford; his children, Alan Ford, Jr. (Beth), Curtis Ford (Betty) and Robyn Smith (Steve); his siblings, Marna Gay Short (Bernard) and Dale Ford; his stepchildren, Eddie Lee Rothermel and Cheryl McCorkle; and his grandchildren, Brandy, Josh, Skylar, Rachel, Taylor, Fabian, Alan Ford III (Trey), Allie, Dalton, Shelly, Kelly, Amanda and Braxton.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Oklahoma's Fallen & Living Firefighters Memorial (2716 N.E. 50th St., Oklahoma City, OK 73111).
