She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Thomas Grimes and Veta Arvilla Grimes (Tuller); her siblings, Lloyd Grimes and Alma Junita Grimes; and her half-sisters, Marie Brown and Mildred Cartwright.
She is survived by: her husband Edgar Leon Nichols (Nick); her sons, Robert Leon Nichols of Topeka Kansas and Ronald Lee Nichols (Karen) of Astor Florida; her granddaughter Vicki Lynn Wall (Stephen) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.; and her sisters, Genevive Thompson of Amarillo Texas and Dorthy Adkins of Mulvane Kansas. She is also survived by 3 children.
