It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vern Eugene Rhodes Jr. in Grove, Oklahoma, born in Arma, Kansas, who passed away on September 2, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Rhodes, Sr. and Opal Rhodes (Jones); his wife JoAnn Rhodes (Bousfield); his sons, David and Michael Rhodes; his brothers, Donnie and Jimmie Rhodes; and his grandchildren, Dakota James Adams and Timothy Edward Adams II.
He is survived by: his daughter Carrie Lynn Adams of Kentucky; and his siblings, Geraldine Palmer of Shawnee, KS, Linda J Saia of Joplin, MO, Cheryl VanLaningham (Ron) of Shawnee, KS and Bruce Rhodes (Lissa) of Arma, KS.
