He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Conard Kreie and Vivian May Kuhne; and his brothers, Ron and Fred. He is survived by: his wife Judie; his children, Wesley Kreie of Monkey Island and Julie Marchese; his grandchildren, Stephen Lussier of Lafayette, LA and Becky Townsend (Zach); his great grandchildren, Walton of Austin, TX and Henry of Austin, TX; and his stepsons, Bert Mann, Jr. of Jay, OK and Scott Mann of Fayetteville, AR..
