It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Read of Grove, Oklahoma, born in Cherryvale, Kansas, who passed away on July 2, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis F Read and Luella Mae Read (Hugo); his brother Lewis "Bud" Read; his son John Edward Read; and his son-in-law Henri VanDam.
He is survived by: his wife Eudora Read; his children, Linda Van Dam of Grove, OK, Margaret Lagow (Steve), Martha Walker (Wayne), Karen Conner (Rex) and Bryan Read (Kathy) of Cherryvale; and his grandchildren, Kara Sapp, Stephanie DeTar, Danielle Krshka, Denise Green, Dylan Walker, Torrey Conner, Sam Read and Melissa Read-Sharp. He is also survived by 6 Great grandchildren.
