He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Barnes and Viola Barnes (Dushane); his wife Shirley Barnes; his grandchildren, Hayden Dushane Fredrick Barnes and Failon Barnes; and his siblings, Irvin Barnes, Simpson Joe Barnes, David Barnes, Benny Barnes, Michael Barnes, Cleora Scott and Barbara Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Barnes, III of Grove, OK, Todd Barnes of Miami, OK, Tyson Barnes (Erin) of Miami, OK, LaDonna Robertson of Bakersfield, CA and Michelle Barnes of Grove, OK; and his brother Clifford Barnes of Quapaw, OK. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
