It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Nixon of Grove, Oklahoma, born in Belleville, Kansas, who passed away on September 2, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Roy Nixon and Nellie Mae Nixon (Gray); his wife Katherine Jane Gowdy; and his brother Irvin Nixon (Nick). He is survived by: his brother Nick; his sister-in-law Virginia; his nephew Gary; and his children, Michael Nixon (Darnice) of San Antonio, TX, Linda Wetzel (James) of Olathe, KS and Bill Nixon (Kim) of Grove, OK. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
