He is survived by: his wife Ruth Nandico (Chisholm); his children, Mary Thomas, Alice Utter and Paul Nandico, Jr. (April); his grandchildren, Samuel Thomas, Charles Thomas, Mary Koedam, Sarah Thomas, Michael Utter and Jeffrey Thomas; and his stepgrandchildren, Bill, Andrew and Ella Joseph. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
His contributions to the field will be remembered by his colleagues.
