We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2021, at the age of 75, Margaret Swearingen Mordy of Grove, Oklahoma, born in Nevada, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wallace "Jack" and Josephine Swearingen (Jackson); and her brother Hinton Wooddy Swearingen. She is survived by: her husband Ron Mordy of Independence, KS; her sons, Andrew R. Mordy (Tamera) of Mission Viejo, CA and David E. Mordy (Melissa) of Kansas City, MO; and her brother David J. Swearingen (Susan) of Nevada, MO.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Epiphany Episcopal Church or Independence Historical Museum.
