She was predeceased by: her husband Philip D. Egert; her parents, Charles Mercer and Lottie Belle Mercer; and her son Philip R. Egert. She is survived by: her daughter Ruth; her child-in-law Lieutenant Philip D; her son Chester C. Egert (Rhoda) of Grove; her daughter-in-law Marie Millan Egert of Chesapeake; her granddaughters, Kristina Durene of Fort Worth, Elena LaVallie (Cameron) of Fort Worth, Alexandra Clark (Ian) of Chesapeake and Virginia; her great grandchildren, Liam, Jonathan Durene, Asher, Uriah, Cosette, Malachi and Harvest LaVallie; and her siblings-in-law, Harlen Core (LaDonna) of Oklahoma City and Elinor Egert of Ocala.
