He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Whitman; and his stepson Douglas Platt. He is survived by: his children, Jackie Fairchild (David Fairchild), Richard Whitman, Jason Whitman and Jeremy Whitman; and his stepchildren, Craig Platt (Debbie), Debbie Ogren, Lyn Rupright and Paul Pratt (Michelle). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
