He is survived by: his mother Shirley Bea Coats; his children, Sam Lane (Daisy), Joe Lane, Felicia Lane, Misty Smith and Cheyenne Lane; and his siblings, John Lane (Tarina), Kristian Armstrong, Kellie of Grove and Zoe Armstrong of Grove. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
