With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Bohannan of Grove, Oklahoma, born in Nevada, Missouri, who passed away on March 10, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Harlen "Val" Gibson, Charles Gibson and Joyce Gibson; her son-in-law Chris Weatherred; and her brother-in-law Charles Bergman.

She is survived by: her children, Jerry E. Bohannan (Theresa) of Grove, James "Gus" Bohannan (Kathy) of Grove and Janet Weatherred; and her sister Helen Bergman. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren.

“Time, age, distance, and health keep us from personal contact, but we are still cousins, and when we lose one there is a sense of loss and an empty space no one else can fill. Jean takes with her, our shared childhood memories: family reunions, picnics in Marmaduke Park, games, practical jokes, and the group pictures where the old folks were on the front row, until the last one when we old cousins were on the front row. We miss you already, Jean. Love, Donna,Frank, David, Doris, Jackie,Melvin.”
