He was predeceased by: his parents, Matt Sparkman and Billye Oliver; his stepfather Fred Oliver; his wife Frances Sparkman; and his grandparents, Hudson S. Sparkman, Pauline Sparkman, Earl Rhodes and Mable Rhodes.
He is survived by: his son Craig Sparkman; his stepchildren, Tim Spencer, Dolly McNorton and Tammy Spencer-Lane; his brothers, Bill Sparkman and Fred Oliver; and his nieces, Aunts and Uncles.
