She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Cooper; her son Jimmy DeWayne Cooper; her granddaughter Cheyenne Saulter; and her siblings, Raymond Akehurst, Glen Akehurst and JoAnn Bolain.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Dyer (Al) of Corsicana and Denise Yanez (JR) of Wyandotte, Oklahoma; her brother Bob Akehurst (Cindy) of Buna, Texas; and her friend Doris. She is also survived by six grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
