He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenton Rife and Ruth Rife (Goodrich); and his brother Stanley Rife. He is survived by: his wife Jo LaPee; his children, Randy Rife (Tina) of Goodyear, AZ and Ronda Rife of Grove, OK; and his siblings, Ronald Rife, Susan Bates of Oswego, KS and Karla Cook of Oswego, KS.
