He was predeceased by: his parents, Lamar Whitney and Mildred Whitney (Jones); his siblings, Don Whitney and Brenda Villarreal; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Cox and Susan Whitney.
He is survived by: his fiancée Carol Hankins; his siblings, Gary Whitney, Elvis Whitney, Ray Whitney, Linda Cox and Randy Whitney (Robin); and his brother-in-law David Cox. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
