With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Daisy L Davis of Grove, Oklahoma, born in Tyro, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Daisy left this world on April 8, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Daisy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Burtrum and Mary Burtrum (Garrett); her sisters, Vera Hobbs and Phyllis Scott (Don); her daughter Dora Lea Whitney; and her grandson Avery Goforth.
She is survived by: her husband Don Davis; and her children, David Harold (Anita) of Miami, Darla Mann (John) of Grove, Donita Goforth (Tim) of Grove and Della Morris (Jim) of Grove. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren, along with a host of extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nichols-Stephens Funeral Home (10201 US-59, Grove, OK 74344). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hickory Grove Cemetery (24201 S 595 Rd, Grove, OK 74344).
