She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Donald and Clara Belle Murchison (Smith); her husband A. J. Mayes; her daughter Candy L. Rowe; and her granddaughter Madison "Maddycakes" Mayes.
She is survived by: her children, Tracy Rowe, Penny Rowe, James Ashley Mayes and Jamie Morene Mayes; her grandchildren, Samantha L. Smith (Cameron), Whitney Holt and Ashley Mayes; and her siblings, Arlene Lawson (Buddy), Jerry Murchison (Mary Beth), Starr Barkmann, Marlyn Tyrell (Steve) and Zandra Fourie (Mike). She is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.
