He was predeceased by: his son Jimmy DeWayne Cooper; his sisters, Opal Blevins and Edna Jordan; and his granddaughter Cheyenne Saulter. He is survived by: his wife Doris Cooper; his daughters, Brenda Dyer (Al) of Corsicana and Denise Yanez (JR) of Wyandotte, Oklahoma; his brother Marion Cooper of Powell, Missouri; his grandchildren, Jason Brandy, Shawnah, Patricia and Juston; his friend Bill; and also Mel Jackson. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
