He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Kerns and Myrtle Kerns (Ames); his wife Neda Williams; his daughter Donna Jean Kerns; his grandsons, Colton Kerns and Michael Brock Eubanks; and his siblings, Raymond, Emma, Ethel and Ioan.
He is survived by: his children, Duane Kerns (Donna) of Grove and Vicky Eubanks (Mike) of Joplin, MO; and his brother Ed Kerns of Welch. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
