He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Whitebird and Louise Whitebird (Harrison); his wife Ada Mae Cutnose; his grandson Scott Russell; and his siblings, Edwin Pewo, Rosemary Whitebird and Lillian Bestley.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Whitebird of El Reno, Thelma Whitebird of El Reno, Malcolm Whitebird, Jr. of Watonga, Maria Oneal of Fort Washakie, WY, Diane Whitebird of Albuquerque, NM and Ernestine Simpson; and his siblings, Kish Whitebird, Dulcie Bighorse, Roegal Brown of Norman and Esther Whitebird. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
