It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Mayo Newberry of Granite, Oklahoma, born in Wilburton, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 14, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Newberry and Mary Newberry; his sister Gayle Young; and his son Dustin. He is survived by: his wife Velma Hines; his daughter Haley Jordan Newberry; his siblings, Marilyn Mclaughlin (Gary) and Larry (Beverly); his brother-in-law Mike Young; and his stepchildren, Gina Ward, Richard Hines (Brook), Bobby Carter (Connie), T. J. Gray (Melissa) of Buffalo Valley, OK and Patrick McBee (Jodie) of Georgia. He is also survived by 12 step grandchildren; 9 step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
