He was predeceased by: his parents, Zelma Mae Clay (Hoover) and Otho Clay; his wife Pat Clay; his son Craig Clay; and his siblings, Robin Clay and Shirley Cherry.
He is survived by: his daughter Carla; his son-in-law Jerry Josefy of Grandfield; his grandchildren, Brian Josefy of Grandfield and Amanda (Lu Hale) of Lawton; and his great grandchild Zoe Hale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
