He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shannon and Willie (Johnson Shannon); and his siblings, Wanda Jeffcoat, Kathleen Perez, Jerry Shannon, James Shannon, Ben and Sally.
He is survived by: his daughter Crystal Shannon (Thaung Tung) of Elkridge, Maryland; his siblings, Kenneth Shannon of Geronimo, Earl Shannon of Marietta, Christine Kyle of Lawton and Iva Paul (Gordon) of Sherman, TX; and his close friend Mark Wengren of Grandfield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
