With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jo Wendelyn Geis (Gotebo, Oklahoma), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Scott Bowlin Morris and Mary Lois Morris (Mobley); and her brothers, Scotty Morris and Thurman Morris. She is survived by: her husband Robert Lee Geis; her children, Robert Wayne Geis (Linda) of Oklahoma City, Randy Geis of Gotebo and Ronda Werner (Robert) of Canute; her sister Mary Lena Issac; her sisters-in-law, Berniece and Jeannie Morris; her grandchildren, Melissa Geis, Christopher Geis (Whitney), Sarah Geis, Robert Samuel Geis, Kristen, Caleb Randall Geis, Leonard Craig Padgett (Suzie), Sherry Padgett (Shawn), Kristy Bray (Michael), Shannon Sharp (Andy), Courtney Padgett, Derryc Werner, Megan Werner, Katelynn Billinger (Jordan) and Kymberle Peters (Blake); her great grandchildren, Marcus Jones, Winifred, Amelia Geis, Aurora Geis, Braden Manes, Jacqueline Padgett, Jayce Easter, Kylie Lenard, Kenlie Lenard, Mason Warren, Lauren Barnes, Kaelyn Barnes, Ryan Padgett, Alex Little, Cooper Sharp, Rhett Martin, Liam McKee, Clayton Werner, Karen, Rylan Allen, Benton Billinger, Hayden Billinger, Brooklyn Jackson and Owen Jackson; and her close friend Louise Dowdy. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church-Gotebo Gotebo. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (201 Commercial Ave, Gotebo, OK 73041).
