He was predeceased by: his father Billie Joe "Bill" Eckles; his father-in-law Henry Cecil; and his sister-in-law Louisa Ishcomer. He is survived by: his mother Betty Louise Eckles (Beaver) of Alma, Arkansas; his wife Raylene Eckles; his siblings, Linda Perkins (Don) of Muskogee, Billy Eckles (Dawn) of Greenwood, Arkansas and Margaret Patton of Jefferson City, Missouri; his stepsons, Patrick Alsup of McAlester, Joseph Alsup (Destiny) of Haywood and Stephen Alsup (Codie) of Haywood; his grandchildren, Tristan, Lillyanna, Madison, Cheyanna, Roy, Kaylee and Alexandria; his mother-in-law Ruth Cecil of Lacey, Washington; and his siblings-in-law, Henry Cecil of Lacey, Raymond Cecil (Donna) of Lacey, William Cecil of McAlester and Jennifer Bullard (Billy) of Indianola. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
