He was predeceased by: his parents, Emel Hayes (Hawkins) and Arthur Hayes; and his sister Tammy Swimmer. He is survived by: his wife Donna Sue Hayes (Burrow); his children, Christia Acker of Webbers Falls, Brittany James (Jessie) and Jeremy Girty of Kansas; and his siblings, Charlotte Casinger of Gore, Sandy Laymon of Braggs, Sharon Sanders of Leon, Kansas, Melvin Hayes of Gore, Oklahoma, Art Hayes of Gore, Oklahoma and Steve Hayes of Gore, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A reception was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Agent Millsap Event Center (100 North Highway 10, Gore, OK 74435).
