He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Bell Chitty (Lattie) and Henry Allen Chitty; and his siblings, Mike Chitty and Terri Tudor. He is survived by: his wife Angie Chitty (Morris); his children, Shawna Johnson (Laura Dawn Johnson), Adam Dozier (Kandi), Josh Chitty (Megan) and Matthew Chitty (Kristen); and his siblings, Alana Casteel of Tahlequah, OK, Hank Chitty of Tahlequah, OK and Lance Chitty of Savannah, OK. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
