He was predeceased by: his parents, Callie Carter (Thomas) and Albert Everett Carter; his son Davo Carter; his grandsons, Brad Tullos, Travis Tullos, Brent Carter and Howie Ferguson; his wife Marina Page Carter; his son-in-law Scott Slape; and his siblings, Beatrice Carter, Perk Bryson, Pete Carter and John Carter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Terry Ferguson (Tex), Rene Sallee (Danny Walker), Brenda Slape of Muskogee, OK, Tina Young (Bryan) and Nena Cameron (Joey); his grandchildren, Tina Imler, Nada Sinclair, Brian Ferguson, Johnnie Ferguson, Bobby Brown, Justin Han, Natosha Hall, Chad Sallee, Tiffany Ellison, Trenda Mullen, Heather Yerby and Raymond Yerby, II; and his brother Jimmy Claude Carter of Gore, OK. He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
