She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Carter and Thelma Carter (Hudspeth). She is survived by: her daughters, Dayna Allen of Bixby, OK and Jaime (Jason Snyder) of Bixby, OK; her sister Rita Boydstun (Dudley) of Keefton, OK; her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Carter of Norman, OK and Linda (Veto Delmedico) of Fort Gibson, OK; her grandchildren, Morgan (Alex Miller) of Largo, FL, Alexis (Brent Dunlap) of Bartlesville, OK, Sadie Allen of Bixby, OK, Jentri Snyder of Bixby, OK, Jaden Snyder (Kylee) of Bixby, OK, Brystal Allen of Oktaha, OK and Jakeb Snyder of Bixby, OK; and her great grandchildren, Kellen of Bartlesville, OK, Aiden of Bartlesville, OK and Tucker Dunlap of Bartlesville, OK. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and some very special friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home (1224 E Poplar St, Fort Gibson, OK 74434). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Timothy Baptist Church (5530 W Okmulgee Ave, Muskogee, OK 74401).
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made in Jo's name to Clarehouse, 7617 S Mingo Road, Tulsa, OK 74133.
