It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris June Vantrease of Glenpool, Oklahoma, born in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Harvel and Ova Evelyn Harvel (Bowen); and her husband Robert Merle "Bob" Vantrease. She is survived by: her children, Burle Lee Vantrease, Alice Anna Shipman, Earl Wayne Vantrease (Deanna) and Michael Dean Vantrease; her grandchildren, Jon Wade Vantrease (Laura), Jamie Clark (Ryan), Alicia Gomez, Alan Shipman (Brooke), Curtis Shipman, Cory Vantrease (Harlie), Amy Tyler (Jake) and Megan Rehorn; and her cousin Anna Jo Poitevent. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
