He was predeceased by: his mothers, Mary (Susie) and Susan Rossander (Demaree); his wife Nancy Rossander; his siblings, Harold Rossander, Keith Rossander, Ralph White, Dale White, Emma Mitchell, Edith Waddell and Lucille Grindstaff; and his great grandchild Stacy Lynn Bergman.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Rossander of Glencoe and Marsha Weinand (Jerry) of Enid; his grandchildren, Kristi Bergman of Enid, Sandy Waters of Glencoe, Mandy French of Glencoe and G. K. Rossander (Stephanie) of Pawnee; his great grandchild Mica French of Glencoe; and his grandchildren, Tucker French of Glencoe, Chance Waters of Glencoe, Kent Rossander of Pawnee, Aiden Rossander of Pawnee and Vera Rossander of Pawnee.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests donations be made in Walter's name to the Glencoe United Methodist Church P.O. Box 30 Glencoe, OK 74032 in honor of Joyce and the late Jim Choplin for the exceptional care they provided.
