He is survived by: his children, Alyssa Papp of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Hailey Heekin of Sallisaw, Oklahoma and Lily Nicholson of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; his sister Melissa Higgins (Clint) of Stillwater, Oklahoma; his uncle Stan Umlauft of Bay Point, California; and his nephews, Ashlynn Kerr, Kinsley Higgins, Tracen Higgins and Brody Higgins.
