She was predeceased by: her parents, Mahlon G. Powers and Violet Ann Powers (Owen); her husband Donald Ray Broughton; her daughter Susan Buswell; her grandson Joey Burk; her great grandchild Patyton Burk; her great great grandchild Charles Mervin; and her siblings, John W. Powers, Mahton G. Powers and Norma June Chambers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Charlotte Bays of Geronimo, OK, Gloria Wooldridge of Of Geronimo, OK, Donna (Donnie Burk) and Linda (Mark Bowman); and her grandchildren, Mike, Susan Mervin, Lora V. Mervin, Anna, Johnny Christensen, Billy Mervin, Donnie, Tina Nichols, Toni Boyett, Doug, Dahlia Thomas, Christy Buswell, Pam Russel, Tim Mason, Danielle Trask, Robert, Rachel Burk, David, Greta Burk, Christian Burk, Tasha, Brian Newville and Justin Fiorot. She is also survived by 36 her great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Lora was a Girl Scout Leader for 30 years and served 18 years as a volunteer for the Great Plains Improvement Foundation where she was a board member for six years.
