Though Ira Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ira Eugene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Marion Kennedy Sr. and Loda Bradley; and his grandson Kevin Ira Varner. He is survived by: his wife Roberta; his daughters, Pamela Varner (Patton) and Joleyne Temple (David); his grandchildren, Keegan Varner (Bethany) and Seth Temple; and his great grandchildren, Kohen Varner, Kennedy Varner and Braelynn Phillips. He is also survived by many nieces' nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (2602 NW Ferris Ave, Lawton, OK 73505).
