He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Tenopir and Opal Tenopir; his uncle Frank; his aunt Agnes Havlik (Tenopir); and his sister Helen Doughty.

He is survived by: his wife Maxie Ruth Besherse; his daughter Julie Ann Tenopir of Blanchard, OK; his brother Floyd; and his sister-in-law Donna Tenopir.
