With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Monroe of Geary, Oklahoma, born in Mangum, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 18, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ronnie Monroe; her parents, Elmer Aldridge and George Fisher; her brother Wayne Cherry; and her brother-in-law Dwight Peck.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Garrett (Rusty) of Ninnekah, OK, Bubba Monroe (Susan) of Gaithersburg, MD, Marcy Moody (Brad) of Stroud, OK and Missy Buser (Davey) of Geary, OK; her grandchildren, Celia Garrett, Ciara Johnson (Dalton), Cale Garrett, Conner Garrett, Mara Monroe, Devin Monroe, Brody Monroe and Tyler Moody (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Kloey, Rylynn and Sawyer; and her siblings, Jerry Dickson (Deana), Peggy Tanner and Elmer Ray Aldridge (Kim). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
