He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roy and Maudie Charline Stevens (Jones); his son Joey Ray Stevens; his sister Elizabeth Ann "Shan" Lamb; and his grandson Tyler Grissom.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Stevens (Max Scarbrough) of Brownwood, Brandi Smith (Steven) of Brownwood and Lindsey Morris of Fort Worth, Texas; his siblings, Elaine Jensen (Frank) of Manitou, Georgia Spoonemore (Kim) of Waurika, Oklahoma, John Charles Stevens (Peggy) and Timothy Dale Stevens of Rogers, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Jenice Stevens (Dustin Gideon), James Dalton Stevens (Ashley), Chancey Thurmon (Grant Templeton), Hunter Jackson (Christy), L. J. Grissom (Billie Ann), Justin Smith, Gage Smith, Kerri Bender (Chris) and Billie Jo Landry. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel (921 W Gladstone Ave, Frederick, OK 73542).
