He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Herbert and Martha Pauline Behnke (Jaster); his wife Wanda Lee; his son Darren Trent Behnke; and his sister Ella Mae Mitchell.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Elaine Keaton of Frederick, Oklahoma and Chad Aaron Behnke of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Frederick.
