It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ray of Frederick, Oklahoma, born in Lawton, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fay Hillis and Dorothy Wedge Hillis; his wife Sally Thompson; his sons, John (Kristen) of Oklahoma City, OK, Clay (Polly) of Lawton, OK and Tom (Pam) of Tulsa, OK; his grandchildren, Erin Hillis Summersgill (Matt) of Tulsa, OK, Madi Hillis Gruenbacher (Tyler) of Oklahoma City, OK, Kathryn Hillis (Dom) of Houston, TX, Libby Hillis of Norman, OK, Tevis Hillis of Oklahoma City, OK and Foster Hillis of Lawton, OK; his great grandchild Kate Elizabeth Summersgill; his sister Susan Mackey of Lawton, OK; and his brothers-in-law, Clay Thompson (Nancy) of Salina, KS and Bill Thompson of Dallas, TX.. He was also cherished by numerous nephews and nieces.
