We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2024, at the age of 89, Ray Walker of Frederick, Oklahoma, born in Snyder, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olden Reuben and Ruby Walker (Campbell); his sisters, Marva Magee and Vera Walker; and his siblings-in-law, Al Edwards, Donald Simmons and Karel Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Walker; his son Kent; his daughter-in-law Kristi of Frederick, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Kaisen Walker of Frederick, Oklahoma and Kolt Walker of Frederick, Oklahoma; his siblings, Roy Walker of Davidson, Oklahoma, Rita Edwards of Vernon and Mary Nicholson; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Magee of Myaka City, Florida and Wanda Simmons of Roosevelt, Oklahoma. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (201 E Grand Ave, Frederick, OK 73542). A burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery (18045 County Rd NS 220, Frederick, OK 73542).
He was a leader in the community, where he strived to donate his talents as a successful businessman to help Tillman County grow and remain strong.
