She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Henry and Mary Ella Harris (Hardesty); her husband J. W. Hughes; and her daughter-in-law Kim Hughes. She is survived by: her children, Karen Mitchell (Terry) of Hobart, Oklahoma, John Hughes (Cindy) of Royse City and Jeff Hughes (Debbie) of Frederick, Oklahoma; and her sister-in-law Arlene Harris of Carlsbad. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel (921 W Gladstone Ave, Frederick, OK 73542). A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery (18045 County Rd NS 220, Frederick, OK 73542).
