He was predeceased by: his son Zackary Wayne Gallagher; his grandparents, Sam Bolles, Faye Underwood, Eddie and Johnnie Gallagher; and his niece Tayler Brown Dillion.

He is survived by: his father Edmund Gallagher, Jr. (Rebecca) of Charleston; his wife Sherry Wynn; his mother Jane Gallagher (David Woodall) of Altus, Oklahoma; his sister Shawna Brown (Eddie) of Martinsburg; his grandchildren, Lylah Gallagher and Alice Gallagher; and his aunts and uncles, Rickey Bolles, Larry Bolles (Rosie), Kim Moore and Karen Bly. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
