He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his parents, Louie Kahlden Sr. and Bertha Wilson Kahlden (Wilson); and his siblings, Louie Kahlden Jr. and Shirley Stricklan.
He is survived by: his children, Dinah Mayes (Ricky) of Duncan and Gerald Kahlden Jr. of Norman; his brother Marvin Kahlden (Mary Ellen) of Mansfield, TX; his brother-in-law Tom Stricklan of Elgin; his grandchildren, Jason Mayes (Lacey), Jenny Mayes Towell (Chase), Joe Kade Kahlden and Kelsi Kahlden (Nolan Aranda); and his great grandchildren, Xander Mayes, Jasper Mayes, Ryleigh Gray, Aubrey Gray, Grayson Towell, Felicity Towell, Damon Aranda and Brynli Aranda. He is also survived by many nieces, nephew, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Comforting Hands Hospice, 2029 W Elk Ave, Duncan, OK 73533, who provided Gerald with excellent care and comfort in his last days.
