It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frankie Lou Ward of Frederick, Oklahoma, born in Caddo, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Irene Harris (Richardson) and Frank Harris; her husband William Sam Ward; her son James Calvin Deaton; her grandson Mark Smith; and her brothers, Kenneth Harris and Porter Harris.
She is survived by: her children, William Sam Ward, Jr. of Borger, Michael Ward of Borger, Texas, Debra Smith of Frederick and Michelle Ward of Frederick, Oklahoma; her sister Jacque Nadine Powell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her sister-in-law Donna Harris of Kansas; and her great grandchildren, Nathan Deaton (Laura), Bryan Smith (Morgan), Krystal Smith (Redd), Jessica Ward, William Sam Ward III (Alicia), Vannessa Matney (Sam), Bridget Ward, Brent Ward, Jakob Ward, Brittany Cummings, Tyler Ward (Angelica), Kenneth Wolfe, Rebeca Diaz and Jasper Nation. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
