He was predeceased by: his parents, Novella Ballard (Bridges) and George Ballard; his wife Patsy June Ballard; his daughter Lori Lynn Ballard; and his siblings, Baby Boy Ballard, Delbert Ballard, Leon Ballard, Floice Ballard, Troice Ballard, Patricia Sue Ballard, Maxine Hudspeth and Mary Hostak.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Wayne Ballard (Carol) of Wichita Falls, Texas and Leesa Jan Thompson (Robert) of Frederick, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Misty Houston (Mike), Heather Douglas (Jason), Valerie Farris (Randal Barnard), Brandi Clark (Quinton) and Lacie McDorman. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
