He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert "Dude" Rice and Violet Duer Rice; and his wife Barbara Rice (Shepard). He is survived by: his son Robert Thomas "Robbie" Rice of Francis; his siblings, Karen Rice Carter and James Neal Rice; and his grandchildren, Justin, Clayton, Derrick, Rebekah, Kristina, Wintra, Audumn and Vyla. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, and a host of other family friends.
