It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Marie Beal in Fort Towson, Oklahoma, born in Canyon, Texas, who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Roscoe and Jossie Violia Cathey (Cottrell); and her sister Myrtle Lee May. She is survived by: her husband Dan; her children, Thomas Leon Crumb of Hugo, OK, Larry Welch Onstott (Tranna) of Nashoba, OK, Stacy Ray Ontsott (Shanette) of Hugo, OK and Jackie Marie Campbell Walls (Stacy) of Checotah, TX; and her siblings, Frank Cathey, Carl Cathey and Thelma Lindsey. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
