He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Yvonne Tupa; his children, Gregory Ronald Tupa (Barb Garver) of Alden, MN, Lisa Marie Tupa of Denver, CO, Brian Scott Tupa (Lascania "Elecia"), Sherry Ann Tupa of Boone, IA, Jason Aaron Tupa (Stephanie) of Mesa, AZ, Shane Patrick Tupa of Oklahoma City, OK and Jacob McMahon (Elisha) of Murfreesboro, TN; his sisters, Patricia Ann Tupa Thompson of Faribault, MN and Suzanne Malecha-Greeley of Faribault, MN; his sisters-in-law, Betty (David) of Faribault, MN and Alma Boudine of Faribault, MN; his grandchildren, Heather Beth, Paul Schmitz, Joshua Gregory Tupa, Ashley, Kristen Sarah Tupa, Rob Culbertson, Nicole Montgomery, Tasha Montgomery, Mary Montgomery, Lane Tupa, Codie Jo Tupa, Nia Tupa, Ryder Luzzadder, Raylee Luzzadder, Rory Alexander, Anneliese Tupa, Hannah Tupa, McKinzey Toye-Tupa, Hayden Tupa, McKayla Tupa, Logan McMahon and Carter McMahon; and his pets, Peanut, Otis, Athena, Atlas, Jax, Zeus and Merida. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, ten nieces, nine nephews.
